What Is MTV Roadies Rebirth?
MTV Roadies Rebirth is the latest installment of India’s long-running adventure reality franchise.
The show brings together contestants who compete in physical, mental and strategic challenges.
Participants must demonstrate courage, confidence, adaptability, teamwork and the ability to perform under pressure.
However, Roadies has never been simply about physical strength.
Contestants also need to understand alliances, negotiations, vote-outs and changing team dynamics.
The Rebirth season builds on these traditions while introducing a new leadership structure.
Instead of six independent gangs, there are two larger camps controlled by three Gang Leaders each.
This could significantly change the balance of power.
Roadies Rebirth Gang Leaders: Complete Confirmed List
The six Gang Leaders are divided into two camps.
Team OGs
- Prince Narula
- Neha Dhupia
- Nikhil Chinapa
Team NewGs
- Abhishek Malhan
- Bani J
- Baseer Ali
The central competition pits experienced Roadies personalities against a newer combination of leaders.
This unusual structure is one of the biggest attractions of the season.
1. Prince Narula — Team OGs
Prince Narula is one of the most recognisable personalities associated with MTV Roadies.
His connection to the franchise began as a contestant before he eventually became a Gang Leader.
Prince won MTV Roadies X2, establishing himself as a fierce competitor.
He later found success in other reality shows and returned to Roadies as a mentor.
What Makes Prince Dangerous?
Prince is known for his competitive instincts.
His strengths include:
- Understanding reality-show strategy
- Motivating contestants
- Strong competitive personality
- Experience with eliminations
- Building loyal teams
- Managing pressure
Prince’s biggest advantage could be his understanding of how quickly Roadies alliances can change.
However, working alongside Neha Dhupia and Nikhil Chinapa will require cooperation rather than individual control.
That creates a new challenge even for an experienced leader.
2. Neha Dhupia — Team OGs
Neha Dhupia returns as one of the experienced Gang Leaders.
She has been associated with several earlier Roadies seasons and is known for her direct communication style.
Neha often focuses on confidence, mental strength and contestants who demonstrate individuality.
Her Leadership Strengths
- Strong opinions
- Ability to challenge contestants
- Experience with gang politics
- Direct questioning
- Strategic decision-making
Neha’s presence could make the OG team especially unpredictable.
Even experienced Gang Leaders do not always agree.
Her disagreements with fellow mentors have previously contributed to Roadies’ most discussed moments.
The new OGs format could bring those conflicts into sharper focus.
3. Nikhil Chinapa — Team OGs
Nikhil Chinapa brings extensive experience in television, music and reality entertainment.
He has been part of the MTV ecosystem for many years.
Nikhil is often associated with analytical thinking and a more measured approach to competition.
What Can Nikhil Bring?
- Strategic planning
- Calm decision-making
- Reality-show experience
- Communication skills
- Understanding of contestant psychology
His biggest challenge may be balancing his own approach with the more outspoken personalities of Prince and Neha.
If all three leaders work together effectively, the OGs could become a formidable team.
4. Abhishek Malhan — Team NewGs
Abhishek Malhan, popularly known as Fukra Insaan, is one of the most talked-about additions to Roadies Rebirth.
He built a large audience through digital entertainment and strengthened his reality-show popularity through Bigg Boss OTT.
His appointment introduces a prominent internet creator into the Roadies leadership structure.
Why Abhishek’s Entry Matters
The audience for reality television has changed.
Digital creators now command enormous attention through social media, YouTube and streaming platforms.
Abhishek brings that influence into Roadies.
His strengths could include:
- Audience connection
- Communication
- Competitive attitude
- Understanding younger contestants
- Confidence in confrontations
- Digital-generation appeal
The biggest question is whether those qualities can translate into successful team leadership during difficult physical tasks.
5. Bani J — Team NewGs
Bani J is one of the most interesting names in the new leadership lineup.
Unlike a completely unfamiliar newcomer, she already has a strong Roadies connection.
Bani previously participated in Roadies Season 4 and later became a recognised television personality, fitness enthusiast and performer.
Why Bani Could Be Important
Bani brings personal experience of competing in Roadies.
She understands the challenges contestants face because she has been in their position.
Her fitness-focused public image also makes her a natural fit for physically demanding competition.
She may offer:
- Mental toughness
- Fitness knowledge
- Personal discipline
- Experience as a former contestant
- Confidence under pressure
Her outspoken personality could also create memorable clashes with the OGs.
6. Baseer Ali — Team NewGs
Baseer Ali is another personality with previous Roadies experience.
He became popular through Roadies Rising and later appeared in other reality television projects.
His participation as a Gang Leader represents a move from competing for survival to helping contestants survive.
What Makes Baseer Interesting?
Baseer understands the emotional side of reality competition.
He has experienced:
- Audition pressure
- Physical tasks
- Team dynamics
- Competitive rivalries
- Reality-show popularity
His experience may help him identify contestants capable of performing under stress.
Alongside Abhishek and Bani, Baseer forms a NewG team with a mixture of digital popularity, fitness and previous reality-show experience.
Roadies Rebirth: OGs vs NewGs Explained
The biggest change is the introduction of two competing leadership camps.
| Team OGs | Team NewGs |
|---|---|
| Prince Narula | Abhishek Malhan |
| Neha Dhupia | Bani J |
| Nikhil Chinapa | Baseer Ali |
| Established Gang Leaders | New leadership combination |
| Experience-led strategy | Fresh approaches and perspectives |
Why Is This Format Different?
Earlier seasons generally featured different Gang Leaders managing their own contestants and competing individually.
Roadies Rebirth instead divides the leaders into two teams.
Each camp contains three mentors.
This creates new possibilities.
A Gang Leader may need to compromise during contestant selection, task planning and team decisions.
Even if one leader prefers a particular contestant, the other two may disagree.
The format can therefore create tension within teams as well as between them.
Roadies Rebirth Contestants List
One of the most searched topics is the complete Roadies Rebirth contestants list.
As of the latest pre-premiere updates, the full official lineup of journey contestants has not been publicly verified.
The auditions have generated discussion, and fan communities have circulated several possible names. However, appearing at an audition or being mentioned online does not automatically confirm selection for the final journey.
The final contestant list should be established through official episode reveals, MTV announcements or verified platform updates.

How Are Roadies Rebirth Contestants Selected?
The Roadies selection process generally tests several qualities beyond physical fitness.
Confidence
Contestants must demonstrate that they can handle attention, difficult questions and pressure.
Physical Strength
Participants may face endurance, agility and strength-based challenges.
Mental Toughness
The competition becomes increasingly difficult when contestants deal with fear, exhaustion and uncertainty.
Personality
Roadies has traditionally valued contestants who stand out through their opinions, behaviour and individuality.
Teamwork
With the new two-camp format, being able to cooperate may become especially important.
Strategic Thinking
Contestants who understand alliances and eliminations may have an advantage.
A physically powerful Roadie is not automatically a successful one.
Roadies Rebirth Auditions: Cities and Highlights
Roadies Rebirth auditions took place across major Indian cities, including:
- Delhi-NCR
- Chandigarh/Panchkula
- Kolkata
- Pune
The audition campaign offered aspiring contestants an opportunity to demonstrate why they deserved a place in the new journey.
The process also introduced audiences to the personality clashes developing between the six Gang Leaders.
For many participants, auditions are the most important stage.
They provide the first opportunity to show their personality and compete for recognition.
Latest Roadies Rebirth Audition Promo Updates
The latest promotional footage suggests that the new season will begin with emotional revelations and heated arguments.
One widely discussed preview shows Neha Dhupia confronting Prince Narula and Nikhil Chinapa, while another moment features Bani J losing patience with a participant.
The promo also shows physically demanding challenges involving some of the leaders.
Another emotional audition moment features a participant discussing a deeply personal experience, leaving host Rannvijay Singha visibly moved.
These moments indicate that the auditions will explore both personality and physical ability.
However, promotional footage is edited for previews, and the full context of each interaction will only become clear when the relevant episodes are released.
Rannvijay Singha Returns as Host
Rannvijay Singha is one of the most important personalities in Roadies history.
He became associated with the franchise through its earliest years and later became a familiar host and mentor.
His return gives the Rebirth season a strong connection to Roadies’ original identity.
Why Rannvijay Matters
He understands:
- The audition environment
- Gang Leader dynamics
- Contestant emotions
- Physical challenges
- Reality-show storytelling
- The franchise’s long-term audience
Rannvijay’s role is especially important because the six leaders must compete within a new structure.
He provides a familiar presence while the show experiments with different rules.

What Types of Tasks Can Fans Expect?
Roadies is famous for challenging contestants through unpredictable tasks.
Although the complete Rebirth task list is not publicly available, earlier seasons provide an idea of the skills the franchise regularly tests.
Physical Tasks
These can assess strength, speed, agility and endurance.
Adventure Challenges
Outdoor challenges may involve heights, difficult terrain or unfamiliar environments.
Teamwork Tasks
Contestants need to cooperate to complete shared objectives.
Strategy-Based Tasks
Some challenges reward planning, communication and decision-making.
Fear-Based Challenges
Contestants may need to confront personal fears while remaining focused on the task.
The new two-camp structure could change how these challenges affect alliances and leadership decisions.
Roadies Rebirth Eliminations and Vote-Outs
Eliminations remain one of the most dramatic parts of Roadies.
In previous seasons, contestants have faced a combination of task performances, team politics and vote-outs.
However, the exact Rebirth elimination structure should not be assumed until the rules are explained on the show.
With two major camps, several questions become interesting.
Will teammates always vote together?
Can members of the same camp disagree?
Will the six leaders have equal decision-making power?
Could a powerful contestant become a threat to their own team?
The answers may significantly influence the season.
Could the NewGs Defeat the OGs?
This is perhaps the biggest question surrounding Roadies Rebirth.
The OGs have significant leadership experience.
Prince, Neha and Nikhil know how the Roadies environment works.
They understand contestant selection, pressure and competitive strategy.
But experience does not guarantee victory.
The NewGs may bring fresh thinking.
Abhishek Malhan understands digital audiences and reality-show competition.
Bani J brings fitness discipline and experience as a former Roadie.
Baseer Ali understands both competition and television.
If the NewGs build a strong team, the gap in leadership experience may become less important.
The winning side will ultimately depend on contestants, tasks and decisions throughout the journey.
Roadies Rebirth vs Previous Seasons
The latest edition introduces a major structural change while keeping the franchise’s familiar competitive identity.
| Feature | Earlier Roadies Formats | Roadies Rebirth |
|---|---|---|
| Gang Structure | Multiple individual gangs | Two rival camps |
| Gang Leaders | Varied by season | Six |
| Leadership | Individual Gang Leader control | Three leaders per camp |
| Competition | Gang vs gang | OGs vs NewGs |
| Host | Varied across seasons | Rannvijay Singha |
| Main Elements | Tasks, alliances, eliminations | Familiar elements with a new structure |
The new format could make team strategy more important than ever.
Why Roadies Rebirth Is Generating So Much Interest
Return of Familiar Personalities
Rannvijay, Prince, Neha and Nikhil bring strong Roadies recognition.
Digital Creator Participation
Abhishek Malhan may introduce the show to viewers who primarily follow online entertainment.
Former Contestants Become Leaders
Bani J and Baseer Ali bring different perspectives because they understand the contestant experience.

Six leaders create more possible alliances, disagreements and strategies.
Two-Team Rivalry
The OGs versus NewGs concept gives the season an immediately recognisable central conflict.
Wider Streaming Availability
The Netflix and JioHotstar rollout makes the season accessible through multiple digital platforms.
Who Could Be the Strongest Gang Leader?
There is no confirmed answer before the competition begins.
Each leader has different strengths.
Prince Narula brings experience and competitive intensity.
Neha Dhupia brings confidence and direct strategic thinking.
Nikhil Chinapa brings analytical decision-making.
Abhishek Malhan brings digital popularity and a competitive personality.
Bani J brings fitness, discipline and former-contestant experience.
Baseer Ali brings reality-show experience and an understanding of Roadies challenges.
A successful leader must do more than win arguments.
They need to choose the right contestants and help them perform consistently.
Who Will Win Roadies Rebirth?
The Roadies Rebirth winner has not been announced.
The season is still awaiting its premiere, so predictions should be treated as opinions rather than results.
Winning Roadies can require:
- Consistent task performance
- Physical fitness
- Mental resilience
- Team coordination
- Smart decisions
- Surviving eliminations
- Performing under finale pressure
The strongest contestant at auditions may not necessarily become the winner.
Roadies frequently rewards the ability to adapt as the competition changes.
Why Roadies Remains Popular
One reason Roadies has remained relevant for so long is that the show offers more than conventional reality television.
It combines personal ambition with a demanding competition.
Contestants arrive with different backgrounds and motivations.
Some hope to build careers in entertainment.
Others want to prove their physical or mental strength.
Many simply want to experience a journey outside their comfort zone.
The pressure of tasks and eliminations often reveals personalities in ways that scripted entertainment cannot.
That unpredictability is central to Roadies’ popularity.
What Should Fans Watch During the First Episodes?
The most important early-season developments will likely involve:
- Which contestants impress the Gang Leaders
- Who joins the OGs
- Who joins the NewGs
- Whether the leaders agree on selections
- How the new rules are explained
- Which personalities dominate the auditions
- Whether conflicts inside the teams affect decisions
The first episodes should establish the direction of the entire competition.
For audiences, the most interesting element may be watching how the six leaders respond when they cannot simply make every decision independently.
